Who should enter the Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards?

Any business involved in recycling vehicles will be able to enter the Awards. Eligibility is as broad as the industry itself. If you are in any doubt about the category/ies you should enter, please email the Awards office for guidance.

The Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards are about innovation, excellence and achievements in the market. 


What is the closing date for entries?

The closing date for entries has been extended to July 29 and will be strictly observed. If for any reason you believe your entry will be late please notify the Awards’ office immediately, before the closing date.

  • February 1:  Call for entries opens for 2022 Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards
  • July 29:  Final closing date for entries
  • August:  Judging commences
  • August 19:  First stage judging complete and Finalist companies announced
  • August 31:  Second stage judging completed to ratify positions
  • November 4:  Awards dinner and ceremony at the National Conference Centre (adjacent to the National Motorcycle Museum) B92 0EJ

    Post-Awards publicity commences

Will your entries be returned?

No entries will be returned after judging. They will be securely destroyed after the Awards ceremony has taken place. Entries that make the short-list of finalists will be used in the Winners supplement published for the Awards. Any information marked as confidential will be treated as such by the organisers. Please remember: if you wish to show a process in action or a some equipment, please submit this in a video file that the judges can view.


What will you receive if you win? 

Every winner will receive a custom-designed trophy that reflects the curcular nature of a modern economy. It is finished in polished white metal and acrylic (which can be 100% recycled) and a winner’s logo. Winners will also receive a Winners’ logo, which can be used for print or online use. The Award of Merit recipients will also receive an acrylic trophy and a logo for print or online use. All Finalists will receive a logo to display online or in print.
